Tsubame-Sanjo has been a thriving manufacturing area since 400 years ago, and is now a world-renowned manufacturing town that the cutlery used at the Nobel Prize ceremony is produced in Tsubame-Sanjo. Nowadays there are many places you could obser ve the skills of the craf tsmen. Every year the Tsubame-Sanjo Factory Festival is held where over 100 business participate to showcase their products and practices to the general public.
